The decals are then hand-applied onto the mugs or glasses. After several hours of curing, the coffee mugs or glasses are put into a kiln, where they will be fired at 1100c . This kiln fired process renders the decals (on the mugs ) completely permanent. The kiln fired process also renders the wares completely dishwasher and microwave safe. (metallic inks excluded)
